Last month, our spectacular Community Engagement Coordinator (and gnome overlord) Tara “GRuBuated” from our staff team. A lover of music, a purveyor of puns, and a shining proponent of overalls fashion, she helped us improve many aspects of our internal systems, and gave so many volunteers an experience of fitting in.

Tara first joined our staff in 2022 and brought with her a playful energy and a can-do attitude to each of the crucial roles she held within the organization, from ENews and social media, to volunteer management. She worked with, and coordinated hundreds of volunteers and helped to improve the way GRuB functions, including setting up our brand new Volgistics page to help us better track and engage with volunteers.

We are so grateful for Tara and everything she had done for GRuB and for the community, and we wish her only the very best in all of her new adventures! We will all miss her Tara-ble puns. 🥁
