GRuB and our partners from Growing Veterans will be hosting an in-person peer support training at the GRuB farmhouse on January 17-19 from 8am to 4pm each day. Growing Veterans is a non-profit organic farm in Lynden, WA with the mission to empower Veterans to cultivate purpose and belonging by growing food, community, and each other and the vision to end the isolation that leads to suicide. This multi-day training has been accredited by the Washington Mental Health Counselors Association (WMCHA) and is eligible for 20.5 CEUs.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided each day. Funding for accommodations and mileage reimbursements available if needed.
This training is free for Veterans and family members and mentors to attend. All others can attend on a sliding scale.
