On May 3rd, help support a family or individual on their food-producing, hunger-reducing journey by joining a garden build team! Join us for our annual event where teams of community builders (with the help of GRuB Staff!) build raised beds for our garden recipients! This year, May There Be Gardens engages teams drawn from community businesses, organizations, neighbors, friends, and families to sponsor and build 10 backyard gardens collectively in one day. After the garden builds, return to the GRuB Farm for a community meal, music, and celebration!!

What Does a Build team do?

• Organize a Team of 6-8 people including a Captain
• Fundraise $500-$1,000 (or to the moon!) for the cost of a garden (use our handy social fundraising platform if you like)
• Build a backyard garden with your Team and the help of GRuB staff and the garden recipients
• Celebrate together at the GRuB Farm after the garden builds!
