SUN MON TUE WED THU FRI SAT
ANYTIME: Farmhouse Construction - Special ProjectsJoin our construction support team! We have regular opportunities for you to plug in and help us build our new home. Previous construction experience isn't necessary (although it's a bonus!); just have a willingness to take on a variety of tasks and the ability to follow directions. Click here to contact Joseph Becker, our construction Volunteer Coordinator, for more information.  WEEKDAYS: Kitchen Garden Project Garden BuildersWe are looking for sturdy volunteers to help us build our gardens. This is one of our favorite volunteer opportunities because of its obvious rigor (it is hard work building a garden), impact, and chance to connect with others in the community. It's also a great opportunity to help raise funds for GRuB by asking your friends and family to help "sponsor" the garden you'll be building (this part is optional!) We have lots of spots available Mon-Fri. To sign up, click here to contact Rochelle.  WEEKDAY MORNINGS: Field Trips at the GRuB FarmThroughout the Spring, we host groups of 15-50+ Elementary and Middle School students for inquiry-based, exploratory learning at the GRuB Farm. Field trips happen weekday mornings April-June and we need great volunteers who can commit to at least a few field trips. For more information, click here to contact Carlin.        Guest chef for the GRuB youthAs some of you may already know, nutrition is a big part of our curriculum throughout the year. One of the best ways we have found to get youth excited about good food is to give them the opportunity to make it! That’s where you come in. On Saturdays during the school year, we need Guest Chefs who will work with 1-2 GRuB youth to prepare a delicious and nutritious lunch for the entire crew. This is a great chance for you to share your love of food and get to know some amazing young people all at the same time!
Spring Sunday Volunteer Drop-insAs you know, Spring is a very busy time at the GRuB Farm! Starting April 20th, the Farm will be open on Sundays for volunteers to help out with various Spring tasks. You can just stop by if you're in the neighborhood; no sign-up necessary. Please join us!      3-6 PM: Fieldwork at the GRuB FarmVolunteer drop-in hours at the GRuB Farm have resumed! Spring is springin', so join us between 3 and 6 and get your hands dirty! For more information, click here to contact Justin at the Farm.      Guest chef for the GRuB youthAs some of you may already know, nutrition is a big part of our curriculum throughout the year.
